Following an amber weather warning, the visit of Father Christmas to Milford Haven on Saturday, December 7 has been cancelled, it has been announced today.
Milford Haven Town Council have published the following alert:
“It is with very heavy hearts that we have to announce that this event has been cancelled.
“There is an amber weather warning (with threat to life) on Saturday.

“We are all so disappointed - absolutely everything has been considered to try and get the event to go ahead - but safety is and must always be paramount.
“At this time the lights will be switched on as normal.
“Milford Haven Town Council is looking forward to running an event for the community at a later date.”
