Local police have issued a warning about a parking scam whereby fake QR codes are being used on parking meters and signs to trick locals and tourists. The counterfeit codes trick members of the public into putting their payment information into fraudulent websites. Pembrokeshire County Council machines use the PaybyPhone App, not QR codes.
