A former assistant clerk to Pembroke town council will go on trial next month after denying eight counts of theft in court.
Fifty-three-year-old Mandy John, of South Road, Pembroke, will face trial at Swansea Crown Court on July 27, after pleading not guilty to the charges at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court last Friday (June 26).
Mrs. John is alleged to have stolen a total of £3,216.93 in money from Pembroke Town Council over a period between November 2017 and May 2018.She was released on unconditional bail and ordered to appear at Crown Court for the next hearing.
