A popular Tenby beach cafe has endured a torrid weekend after a break-in and vandalism incident.
The Dennis Cafe which sits alongside Tenby’s Castle Beach posted on social media this morning (Monday, August 10) that they might not be able to open for trading for the rest of the day, as police were investigating a break-in overnight.
The blow to the establishment followed another incident of vandalism outside the premises ahead of the weekend, where the owners stated: “Unfortunately due to a total lack of respect for property we will no longer be offering outdoor seating - coming in this morning to find our picnic benches moved around and broken just isn’t acceptable!
“Sad that we’ve had to do this but it’s just not okay! We will still be operating as a takeaway for food and drinks but due to a select few individuals we have no seating to offer.”
