Tenby Community Edible Garden is having a tidy-up, and volunteers are invited to join in.
Perennials will be planted around the outer bed where the shrubs have been pruned to allow some planting space.
Some compost has been obtained to refill the raised beds and fruit bushes will be replanted in the one by the South Cliff gate. More trellises will go along the wall.
If anyone would like to help, visit the garden and chat to any volunteer you see helping there, or pop in to the town council office to have a chat.
If you have spare plants or bulbs or fruit bushes, or compost or old garden tools that you no longer need, leave them in the little plastic greenhouse or in the wooden storage box behind the bench under the shelter. And if anyone knows someone who would be able to give the lawn a mow every now and then, that would be appreciated, so the garden can be enjoyed by all.
Tenby Community Edible Garden is located at the Gilroy Phillips Memorial Garden, Sutton Street near the town’s Esplanade.
