On Saturday, Augustus Place played host to the first ever Tenby Repair Café.
This was the maiden voyage, with newly qualified PAT testers on hand for any electricals. The idea is to repair, recycle and reuse and so save the environment; a chance to share skills whilst meeting like-minded people over a cuppa.
The Repair Cafe was run alongside the monthly tabletop and jumble sale, coffee afternoon.
All are welcome a repair cafes - those with skills to help and those with items that need fixing! Could you repair or fix clothing, bicycles, toys, electrical appliances, furniture, pc/s laptops, electronics, jewellery, wooden items?
If you feel you could help for an hour or two once a month, contact Anne, Community Engagement Officer at Tenby Town Council on 01834 842730 or email [email protected].
The next Repair Café will be held at Augustus Place, Tenby on Saturday, September 9, from 2pm to 4pm.
